There are complete 246,458 automatic rickshaws in Mumbai MMR as of 2008, Auto Rickshaws are three-wheeler child scooters, having a rim in the top side and 2 tires in the back, which can provide three people in the back area, apart from the car owner in the top side area. Apart from Vehicles, Teaches and Cabs, Auto rickshaws perform a huge part of trains and coaches in Mumbai. As per the judgment of the Bombay High Trial having 2002 as a timeline, all automatic rickshaws use CNG as the petrol.
